Meet the Team
About us
Central Florida Counseling and Consulting, located in downtown Ocala, Florida, was founded in 2020 out of a passion for helping individuals grow into their authentic selves and reach their fullest potential. What began as a focus on supporting adolescents through life’s challenging transitions has grown into a practice that serves children, adults, couples, and families.
We are committed to meeting each client where they are, offering personalized support for concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, relationship challenges, and more. Our approach blends evidence-based interventions, practical strategies, and compassionate guidance, ensuring that each person is treated and respected as the unique individual they are.
At Central Florida Counseling, growth is a shared journey. We continuously seek to expand our own knowledge and skills, so we can provide the highest level of care to those we serve. Whether you are seeking healing, clarity, or personal growth, we look forward to walking alongside you on your path toward balance, fulfillment, and self-discovery.
Jill Lynch, LMHC
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Forensic Mental Health Evaluator with eight years of counseling experience and a strong background in education. As a Certified ADHD Therapist, I also specialize in anxiety, depression, and family counseling. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) combined with a strengths-based perspective and enriched with psychoeducation. This allows me to help clients gain a deeper understanding of themselves while supporting and building on what is already working in their lives, equipping them with tools to navigate life’s challenges now and in the future.
My passion for counseling began while working in education, where I developed a deep commitment to supporting adolescents as they transition into adulthood. Today, I work with clients of all ages, helping them uncover their authentic selves, heal from past challenges, and build a life that feels balanced and fulfilling. I believe therapy is not only a place to address struggles, but also a space to discover strengths, develop new perspectives, and foster lasting change.
Jackson Elling, RMHCI
Jackson is registered as a pre-licensed counselor (RMHCI) in Florida. He is working toward his 1,500 counseling hours required for licensure. Jackson aims to help clients gain awareness and understanding of their stories, past trauma, and relational wounds while also equipping them with tools to help alleviate their present suffering. His approach to counseling draws from
Emotionally Focused Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, giving him a wide array of skills and strategies for guiding clients toward wholeness and health.
At 17, Jackson was diagnosed with a degenerative disease, and he now uses a wheelchair. His ongoing struggle with disability has cultivated in him a passion for drawing near to others who are hurting in all kinds of ways. He feels honored and privileged to be with them as a fellow
journeyer and insightful guide.
